Acceptance of Terms
By using “PlanLo” (including the hub, Travel, and Split sites and related preview/production sites, collectively the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. For privacy matters, please see Privacy Policy.
Copyright and intellectual property
© 2026 PlanLo. The service name, logos, interface design, layout, explanatory text, icons, software code, and documentation are owned by the operator or its licensors unless otherwise indicated.
- Without written permission, you may not copy, modify, republish, rent, sell, or reverse-engineer the Service, nor offer a highly similar product or site under the Service name.
- Intellectual property in itineraries and split content you upload or create remains with you (or the person entitled to use that content); you authorize us to process that content solely to provide the online save, share, backup, and similar features you request.
- Reasonable personal use (for example backing up or printing your own itinerary) is not restricted by the above; commercial copying, whole-site cloning, or unauthorized resale is not reasonable personal use.
Service content
PlanLo provides travel planning, expense splitting, local storage, optional online saves and sharing, export, and (depending on the account) AI assistance and other features. Features may be added, adjusted, or discontinued at any time. Free quotas, ad display, and membership levels are as described in the interface at the time.
Accounts and acceptable use
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and must keep login credentials secure.
- You must not use the Service for illegal activity, infringement, harassment, distribution of malware, spamming invitations, interfering with system operation, or attempting unauthorized access to others’ data or the admin console.
- A share link means anyone holding the link can view (or edit according to their permissions) the related save; share only with trusted people. You can revoke share links at any time.
- If we reasonably suspect abuse of the Service or a breach of these terms, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate the related account or link.
Data and backups
Local data is limited by your device and browser; online temporary storage has quotas and retention policies. Please export backups of important itinerary and split data yourself (for example Excel, print/PDF, or a backup file). Except where required by law, the operator is not liable for data loss beyond reasonable technical remediation caused by service interruption, data deletion, or policy changes.
Ads and third parties
Free users and visitors may see ads (for example Google AdSense). The Service relies on third-party services (for example Netlify, Supabase, Google, Resend) whose terms and availability we do not fully control. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Exchange-rate notice
Exchange rates shown by the Service come from third-party sources and may be delayed, inaccurate, or temporarily unavailable.
- Exchange rates and amounts converted at those rates are for reference only and should not be used as the basis for buying or selling foreign currency, investment, or any other financial decision.
- The actual applicable rate and fees are those published or charged by your bank, credit-card issuer, or other exchange-service provider; you should verify with the relevant institution.
- The operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of exchange-rate data and is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on it.
Calculation results and software errors
All calculation results provided by the Service, including splits, settlements, service fees, and currency conversion, are for reference only.
- Results may differ because of calculation errors, software bugs, incorrect input data, synchronization issues, or other reasons.
- You must verify the relevant amounts yourself before making or receiving payments or settling.
- To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss caused by calculation errors, software bugs, or data errors.
Inability to use the Service due to the user’s own reasons
The operator is not responsible if the Service cannot be used, data cannot be accessed, or data is lost for reasons of the user or outside the operator’s control. Such reasons include but are not limited to:
- Your device, operating system, browser, or its version is incompatible, faulty, or misconfigured;
- Network connection is interrupted, unstable, or restricted;
- Clearing browser data, cookies, or local storage, or using private browsing mode;
- Using ad blockers, privacy or security extensions, or other software that interferes with the site;
- Your Google account or other sign-in account is lost, suspended, or compromised;
- Third-party services (for example Google, Supabase, or the site-hosting provider) are interrupted, fail, or change.
You are responsible for the security of your account, including keeping sign-in devices and accounts secure; you are also responsible for content you enter, upload, or share in the Service.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. Itinerary suggestions, AI output, and exchange-rate/amount calculations are for reference only; please verify them yourself. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages; the operator’s total liability for a single event does not exceed the fees you have paid us for that service (or zero if you have not paid), except where required by law.
Changes to the terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date will be revised. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will try to give notice on the home page or account page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the place where the Service operator is located. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it in good faith; if that fails, the dispute shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in the operator’s location.
